The Go Onsite mobile app handles day-of check-in and badge printing; Go Attend gives attendees a branded container app for agendas, push notifications, and directory networking. Everything ships with a real REST API and webhooks, which is rarer in this category than it should be.
What Swoogo deliberately doesn’t do is host virtual events. Live streams, breakout rooms, and webinar delivery run through Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, or GoTo Webinar — Swoogo integrates with all of them but stays in its lane as the registration and logistics layer. That’s a feature if you already standardize on those tools, and an extra moving piece to manage if you don’t. The other honest catch is design depth: drag-and-drop covers most use cases, but brand-perfect customization still rewards teams with HTML and CSS comfort in-house.
Budget-wise, the $11,800 Professional floor is the main filter. For teams running a single event a year, Eventbrite or Splash will be dramatically cheaper; for teams running flagship conferences with venue sourcing and room blocks, Cvent or RainFocus will be more complete. Swoogo’s sweet spot is the large middle — sophisticated event programs at mid-market and enterprise teams that want registration done right without either end of that spectrum.
